No Spark in My ZC!!!!!!

We need some history on the problem. Was it swap-related, like first time starting, or was it an all-of-a-sudden, the car won't start kind of thing.

Was their any mods or wiring done with the car recently, running through water, battery problems, etc...

we just installed the motor did all the articles said to do for a DX to ZC swap, we heard the motor run in the guys car who we bought it from,but we still get no spark.

Did you swap TPS wires - 2EA.

Did you go from C10 and C12 directly to the CYL exhuast cam sensor.

Did you remember to hook up the Thermostat harness wiring grounding points...1 or 2 wires with 10mm bolts.

Did you hook up battery main ground on tranny to frame to battery.

Is it possible you swapped any of the white distributor wires at any time??? the ignitor wire in the wrong position will make things dead in the water.

Your problem is mostlikely on the igniter circuit or quite possible the ECU is cuting off the Fuel Injection circuits at the Main Relay and not accepting start attempts!

I just wrote another guy, but do this, same thing:

Turn Ingition to on (not start) engine check light comes up with a click, and then goes out with a click. If you did not hear the second click then your injectors circuits are shut down from ignition power and the ECU senses a tap from this circuit and denies startup attempts - has something to do with the ECU circuits seeming to not be present - I do know this - so it could be a wire at the ECU.

Check your main relay as well. But if your main relay already worked, it's probably not this. Try smacking it around.

You should only have changed wires c1/c2 and c10/c12 if Si to ZC at ECU side. otherwise those and A3 and A7 for DX, with old taped off.

Try to see if any of this could possibly be it.
